Founded to shift the leadership landscape.

The genesis of BREAKTHRU wasn’t merely an idea—it was the result of lived experiences and an unshakeable belief that the leadership landscape needed transformation.

After decades of climbing the corporate ladder, Founder Laura Barnard encountered leadership stereotypes and discrimination firsthand. Even as she broke through to those executive tables, she quickly realized the environment lacked true inclusivity. Determined to change the leadership landscape, Laura set out to build a team of equity-minded leaders dedicated to contributing to cultures of belonging where everyone was empowered to lead as their authentic selves.
